Terms of Service
The terms that apply to this website, to quotes we give and to fence work we carry out.

Using this website
This website is published by Anderson Fence Company. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
The content here is provided for general information about fence installation and repair. It is written carefully and kept current, but it is not a substitute for an on-site inspection of your property.
Quotes and estimates
Nothing on this website is a price quote or a contract. Prices depend on material, length, height, access, slope, ground conditions, removal of any existing fence and local requirements, none of which can be assessed from a web page.
A quote becomes a quote when we have visited your property, measured the work and given you a written number. Quotes are free, carry no obligation and are valid for the period stated on the quote itself.
If conditions change after a quote is given, for example if buried concrete, rock or an unmarked utility is found, we will tell you before doing additional work and agree any price change with you first.
Fence work
- You are responsible for confirming your property boundaries. We will happily walk the line with you, but we do not survey property and we build where you direct us.
- You are responsible for telling us about neighborhood or architectural committee rules that apply to your property.
- We arrange standard utility locates before digging. Private lines such as irrigation, invisible pet fencing, low voltage lighting and unmarked drainage are not covered by public locate services, so please point them out.
- Scheduling can move for weather. Setting posts in saturated ground produces a fence that leans, so we will reschedule rather than push through a wet week.
Materials and natural variation
Wood is a natural material. Grain, color and knot pattern vary between boards, and all exterior wood in this climate will gray, check and move with the seasons. That is normal behavior, not a defect.
Vinyl, aluminum and steel products are covered by the manufacturer's own warranty terms, which we will pass on to you.
Limits
To the extent permitted by South Carolina law, our responsibility in connection with any job is limited to the work we performed and the amount paid for it. We are not responsible for damage caused by events outside our control, including storms, fallen trees, vehicle impact, ground movement or work carried out on the fence by others.
